Especially in a difficult environment, such as in the Dzanga-Sangha protected area in the Central African Republic, we need long-term commitment

With its rainforest foundation, the Krombacher brewery has broken new ground. The focus is on long-term commitment to the Dzanga-Sangha protected area in the Central African Republic. The area is of particular importance for the protection of forest elephants, lowland gorillas, bongo antelopes and many other animal and plant species.

Our support served to make the cooperation between Krombacher and WWF Germany, which is implementing the project in Africa, as trouble-free as possible and successful in terms of nature conservation.

In this way, it was possible to keep the project alive even in times of civil war in the ZAR.
